Answers -

  • I am the last person in the lab at night, what do I do?
    • Computer Room
      • Turn the lights off.
      • Lock the door to the hall.
    • Flow Laboratory
      • Turn lights off.
      • Lock the doors to the conference room and to the computer room.
    • STC Conference Room
      • Turn the lights off.
      • Lock the door to the hallway. The wrench you will need is on the shelf to the right of the door.
    • Tissue Culture Facility
      • Turn off the lamp on the reverse field microscope.
      • Turn off the fluorescent light over the microscope bench.
      • Turn off the blowers in the Murphy lab and shared laminar flow hoods.
      • Turn ON the UV lamps in the Murphy lab and shared laminar flow hoods.
      • Turn off the vacuum and pipet pump in the Murphy lab and shared laminar flow hoods.
      • Place the wastebaskets outside the doors of the laminar flow hood rooms.
      • Turn off the lights.
      • Lock the inner and outer doors of the TC room.
    • Murphy Laboratory
      • Turn off the lights.
      • Lock the door from the STC conference room to the lab, and the door from the lab to the hallway.

    • Sunday - Empty trash and dust/damp mop
    • Monday - dusting
    • Tuesday - Empty trash and dust/damp mop
    • Wednesday - Spot clean
    • Thursday - Empty trash and dust/damp mop

    If you have any problems with the cleaning services, you should contact Linda Robinson at extension 8-2036.
